Event Description:

As part of the 2025 Cleveland Kurentovanje celebrations, we’re thrilled to present an online cooking demonstration featuring two beloved Slovenian dishes: pork schnitzel and the traditional potato side dish, tenstan krompir, guided by Cleveland area Slovenian caterer, Joe Tavcar.

There are very few people in Cleveland more qualified to teach this classic Slovenian dish than Joe, who has made thousands of pieces of schnitzel and hundreds of pounds of tenstan krompir in his professional career.

During this demonstration, Joe will share his tips and tricks for achieving the perfect schnitzel crisp and the rich, comforting flavor of tenstan krompir. Whether you're cooking a comfort-food dinner for two, or scaling up for a large family gathering, Joe will offer valuable advice to make your meal a success – including suggestions for large event preparation and tips on easy meat tenderizing.
